DataCell · DataScape
One network, one dashboard
A single device is anecdotal. A network is data. Sentinel monitors all of it — cathodic protection, water, gas, levels, tanks, structures, engines — in one place, whoever built the asset.
Why it matters
Your assets aren't all one brand
Most monitoring comes tied to the hardware it was sold with — a portal for one manufacturer's equipmemnt, and nothing for anything else. So a network built over thirty years ends up watched by three portals and a clipboard.
DataCell doesn't care what's in or on the ground. If it has an output, a contact or a Modbus interface, we can read it and report it into DataScape alongside everything else you're watching.
Applications
If you can graph it, we can monitor it
Anything with an output, a contact or a Modbus interface — potential, pressure, level, flow, temperature, tilt, run hours. Every point is held in a full historian, so the trend goes back as far as the logger does. Share the data out to your own systems, and have the reporting arrive on a schedule rather than when someone remembers to ask for it.
01
Cathodic protection
Pipe-to-soil potential, rectifier output, instant-off surveys, drainage.
02
Water & waste water
Reservoirs, pump stations, pressure and flow across dispersed networks.
03
Flood monitoring
River and creek levels, with alarming before it becomes someone's problem.
04
Metering
Consumption logging and reporting where the meter is nowhere near the office.
05
Engines & generators
Engine monitoring and automated generator exercising.
06
Tanks & levels
Above and below ground storage, wherever the level matters.
07
Structures & movement
Tilt and angle on retaining walls, piling, bridges and tanks — before it becomes visible.
08
Power & energy
Current, voltage and consumption on site supplies, switchboards and remote plant.
09
Something else
If it has an output, a contact or a Modbus interface, tell us what you're trying to see.
Hardware
DataCell loggers
Designed with industry to be the simplest and most reliable way to monitor a remote asset. Full specifications, datasheets and manuals are on the DataCell site.
Internally powered
Where there's no supply
Battery powered, for test posts, remote valves and anywhere running a cable isn't worth it.
Externally powered
Where there is
Mains or site-powered, for kiosks, rectifier cabinets and pump stations — higher sample rates, more channels.
DataScape
Your data, in your hands
Every DataCell reports into DataScape — the fleet, the trends, the exceptions and the alarms, in one place, on a phone in the field or a desk in the office. You make the decisions. DataScape makes sure you're making them on current information, not on a reading someone took in March.
