Industrial power and
monitoring solutions.
Aegis Sentinel is a locally owned and operated Australian business. We supply, commission and support industrial power supplies, cathodic protection rectifiers and remote monitoring for asset owners who need their infrastructure protected — and need to know it's working.
We're not a catalogue reseller. We specify the equipment with you, we hold stock and spares here, and we're the ones who answer when you call about it in three years.
What we're for
Adding value, not margin
Anyone can put a box on a pallet. What costs our clients money is specifying the wrong unit, discovering a fault six months after it developed, or driving four hours to read a meter that could have reported itself.
So that's where we work: getting the specification right the first time, and making sure the asset tells you what it's doing without anyone having to go and look.
What we do
Power, and proof
Two halves of the same job — supplied, integrated and supported by the same people.
NES · Power
Rectifiers and industrial supplies
We're the exclusive authorised Australian distributor for NES Nová Dubnica, a European leader in power electronics since 1992. Cathodic protection rectifiers, switching drainage, and custom supplies for electroplating, DC/DC conversion, battery charging and DC UPS.
DataCell · Monitoring
Know what your network is doing
DataCell loggers report into Datascape — the fleet, the trends, the exceptions, in one place. Whatever's in your ground, whoever built it. If it has an output, a contact or Modbus, we can read it.
Why Sentinel
Your assets aren't all one brand
A network built over thirty years ends up watched by three portals and a clipboard. Monitoring that comes bundled with the hardware only ever watches the hardware it came with — so the older half of your network stays invisible.
We don't work that way. NES equipment reports into Datascape over Modbus RTU/TCP, and so does everything else we can reach. One dashboard, whole network, current information — not a reading someone took in March.
Who we work with
Where Sentinel is working
01
Gas networks
Cathodic protection on distribution mains and transmission pipelines.
02
Water
Buried steel mains, reservoirs and pump stations across dispersed networks.
03
Rail & tram
Stray current mitigation where DC traction runs near your pipeline.
04
Tanks & marine
Storage, wharves and reinforced concrete structures.
05
Flooding
River and creek levels, with alarming before it becomes someone's problem.
06
Remote plant
Anything far enough away that a site visit costs more than the reading.
Local support
Here, not on a shipping manifest
Being Australian owned only counts for something if it changes what happens when you need help. Stock of common models and spare parts is held in Melbourne. Commissioning and technical support run across Victoria and nationally. When something needs attention, a fast response means days — not a container.
Specification
Before you buy
System design support to AS 2832, sizing to the structure rather than the catalogue, and a straight answer about what you don't need.
Commissioning
On site
Installed, set up and proven working, with the monitoring reporting before we leave.
Support
Afterwards
Local stock, local spares, and the same people on the phone who specified it.
What are you protecting?
Tell us the structure, roughly what current it draws, where the gear has to live, and what you're doing now to check it. That's enough for a useful first answer.
